When and How Do I Register to Vote?

In Illinois you must register 28 days before the next election.

There are Several Ways to Register

Download an application and mail it in.  You can find the application here on the State’s Election Board, or try the online voter registration by clicking here
Walk into the local City Clerk office, Public Library, Township office or go to the County Clerk office and ask to Register to vote. 
Register in person at the Chicago Board of Election or any Secretary of State facility where Illinois Driver’s License or state identification is issued.
